Benefits

VoiceInk greatly simplifies code reviews and walkthroughs. Feedback becomes more constructive and useful because the reviewer can share his thoughts more easily. No keyboard slows down his thoughts. Developers also benefit: Audio feedback is much richer than typed comments can ever be. Besides accelerating code reviews, VoiceInk thus increase the acceptance of regular code reviews among reviewers AND those reviewed. For many IT departments, the VoiceInk Plugin will serve as an enabler for the vital practice of regular code reviews and lead to higher quality code.

The VoiceInk Plugin is also useful for adding annotations to code when working under high time pressure. If necessary, VoiceInk annotations can be converted into written text by less expensive staff or a specialized transcription service provider.
